As principal and co-founder of CSG Urban Partners, Mr. King assumes primary responsibility for client development, deal structuring and strategic planning and implementation. He provides public, not-for-profit and religious institution clients with strategic planning and real estate advice drawn from a deep understanding of the public-private development process. He also specializes in creating innovative development strategies for organizations and institutions that seek to maximize the value of owned real estate assets – while staying keenly focused on the entities core, mission and priorities.

Charles has over thirty years of real estate, financial, and entrepreneurial experience. Prior to creating CSG Urban Partners, Mr. King was the Acting Executive Vice President for the RLA Revitalization Corporation (RLARC), where he directed the management of the District’s $500 million RLARC real estate portfolio. Previously, Mr. King was the founder of CEK Corporation, Kings Caribbean Coffee company and has worked at leading firms such as Grant Thornton, Julian Studley and Housing Innovations Incorporated.
