CSG Urban Partners, LLC was founded in 2003. The firm’s managing principals are Charles E. King and Simone Goring Devaney. Together, with over 50 years of combined real estate and finance experience, the two have developed CSG into a leading real estate firm. From the beginning, Charles and Simone recognized the importance of being active participants in the broader commercial real estate industry, but also to be mindful and “give back” to the local communities in which they serve their clients and live.
“We are active participants in the development industry. We understand critical mission needs through our work with many non-profits and religious organizations.”
The principals of CSG are involved in various real estate groups such as the Urban Land Institute (ULI), District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA), The District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP), the YMCA National Assembly, and other related commercial real estate organizations. Individually, the founders are active in various supportive neighborhood entities related to early childhood and secondary education, affordable housing, healthy and wellness through volunteering and/or serving in leadership roles and sitting on various Boards of Directors.
